Comcast acquires Sky (2018)
Comcast completed the acquisition of Sky on 9 October 2018 for £30 billion.[1]
Comcast won Sky in a rare televised auction ordered by the British Takeover Panel, outbidding Twenty-First Century Fox at about £30 billion. It gave Comcast pay television across Britain, Ireland, Germany and Italy in a single step.
