Danone acquires Aptamil and Nutricia (2007)

Danone completed the acquisition of Aptamil and Nutricia on 1 October 2007 for €12.3 billion.[1]

Danone acquired the Dutch nutrition group Numico for about €12.3 billion, buying Aptamil and Nutricia. It moved the company decisively into infant and medical nutrition, which are now among its most profitable divisions.
