Kering completed the acquisition of Ginori 1735 on 27 May 2013.[1]
Gucci bought the Florentine porcelain house Richard Ginori out of insolvency, keeping a manufacturer that had operated since 1735 from being broken up. It is the only tableware business in a group otherwise built on fashion and jewellery.
