IAG acquires Aer Lingus (2015)

IAG completed the acquisition of Aer Lingus on 18 August 2015 for €1.36 billion.[1]

IAG acquired Aer Lingus for about €1.36 billion, after the Irish government agreed to sell its stake against commitments on Heathrow slots and connectivity. Ryanair, which held a large minority, had been ordered by British regulators to reduce it years earlier.
