Prestige Consumer Healthcare acquires Breathe Right (2026)
Prestige Consumer Healthcare completed the acquisition of Breathe Right on 15 June 2026 for $1.04 billion, buying from Foundation Consumer Healthcare.[1]
Prestige Consumer Healthcare bought the Breathe Right nasal strip brand and certain other brands from Foundation Consumer Healthcare for $1.045 billion, about $900 million after $150 million of expected tax benefits, and closed on 15 June 2026. When the deal was announced Prestige also named Dimetapp and Anbesol among the brands included. It is a characteristic Prestige purchase: an established over-the-counter name bought from a private owner rather than a brand built from scratch.
