Richemont acquires A. Lange & Söhne (2000)
Richemont completed the acquisition of A. Lange & Söhne on 1 July 2000.[1]
Richemont acquired A. Lange & Sohne, expropriated by East Germany in 1948 and refounded in 1990 by the founder's great-grandson after reunification. It is the only German house counted at the top of watchmaking. The price was not disclosed.
