Anadolu Efes is Türkiye's largest brewer, founded in 1969 as part of the Anadolu Group, and runs beer operations in Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine through its Dutch subsidiary Efes Breweries International. AB InBev holds 24 per cent of the company, and Anadolu Efes in turn holds 50.3 per cent of Coca-Cola İçecek, which bottles Coca-Cola in Türkiye, Pakistan, Central Asia and the Middle East. Its Russian breweries were placed under temporary external management in December 2024 and are no longer consolidated. It brews several international beers in Türkiye under licence.
