Erisco Foods Limited is an indigenous Nigerian food manufacturer and a subsidiary of the Erisco Bonpet Group, with offices on Oyeleke Street in Oregun, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos. It describes itself as the largest tomato paste producer in Nigeria and Africa and the fourth largest in the world, with an installed capacity of 450,000 tonnes a year, more than 3,000 people on its payroll and roughly 2,500 hectares of its own farmland in northern Nigeria feeding a plant that refines fresh and dried tomato into industrial concentrate. It says it invented the processing technology that lets it work from both fresh and dried fruit, and packs paste in 70g, 150g, 210g, 400g, 800g and 2.2kg sizes in sachets and tins. Beyond tomato it sells green and black teas, seasonings, milk and chocolate cubes, non-dairy creamer and instant garri mixes.
