Grigeo Group AB, renamed from Grigeo AB in May 2024, is the only paper and wood industry company group in Lithuania and one of the largest in the Baltic states, headquartered at Vilniaus Street 10 in Grigiškės on the edge of Vilnius. Its history runs back to a cardboard factory the engineer and businessman Grigas Kurecas built in 1923 at the confluence of the Vokė and Neris rivers; the mill became a public limited company in 1992 and listed on the Vilnius exchange in 1994. The group processes recycled waste paper into tissue, containerboard and hardboard, and in 2023 restructured to separate its tissue paper business, sold under the Grite brand, from its packaging and wood-fibreboard segments.
