Its holding company, MHP SE, was formed under Cypriot law on 30 May 2006 and is registered in Limassol; its global depositary receipts have been listed in London since 2008. The operating business was founded in Ukraine in 1998 as Myronivskyi HliboProduct and its Ukrainian arm is run from Kyiv. It is the leading poultry producer in Europe, exports to more than eighty countries, and moved into the European Union by buying Perutnina Ptuj in Slovenia in 2019 and 92 per cent of UVESA in Spain in 2025.
