Thai President Foods was established in Bangkok on 15 February 1972 as a joint venture between President Enterprise of Taiwan and Sahapatanaphibul to make MAMA instant noodles; after its first year all shares passed to Thai shareholders. The present company was formed on 16 October 2017 by merging it with President Rice Products. At the end of 2025 its largest shareholders were Saha Pathana Inter-Holding, with 26.34 per cent, and Nissin Foods Holdings, with 16.84 per cent. It makes instant noodles, bread, biscuits, fruit juice and packaging.
