Unimer (CSE: UMR) is a publicly listed company headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco that owns 4 consumer brands.^[1]

Unimer Group is a Moroccan seafood-products group that, per its own September 2024 semi-annual report, grew from the fusion of several 19th-century Moroccan fish canneries into what it calls one of the world's largest specialists in sardine and anchovy canning. The same report puts the group, as of that date, at 20 production sites (2 abroad), 2 logistics platforms, 6 foreign commercial subsidiaries, sales in 57 countries and eight recognised proprietary brands, and shows it majority-owned through the Sanam Agro agro-industrial arm of the Alj family's Sanam group (Sanam Agro 50.80%, Sanam Holding 24.37%, Sanlam Maroc 6.08%, Aljia Holding 3.48%, other shareholders 15.27%). Unimer SA itself was founded on 29 June 1973 through the merger of the Pecadir, Saretam, Unimaco and Etamar canneries and listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange in 2001, per the company's earlier December 2010 regulatory filing for its merger with La Monégasque Vanelli Maroc.
