Viña Concha y Toro was founded in 1883 by the Chilean politician and businessman Melchor Concha y Toro, and its shares have traded on the Santiago exchange since 1933, the same year it first exported. It calls itself the leading wine producer in Latin America, sells in more than 130 countries, and farms over 12,000 hectares of vines in Chile, Argentina and the United States. Sales reached Ch$975.33 billion in 2025, more than 80 per cent of it from outside Chile, and it also owns a Chilean craft brewery.
