Vitafoam Nigeria Plc is the country's leading manufacturer of flexible, reconstituted and rigid foam products, incorporated on 4 August 1962 and run from 140 Oba Akran Avenue in Ikeja, Lagos, with factories in Lagos, Kano, Jos and Aba serving distributors in every region of Nigeria. It was the first Nigerian foam manufacturer to win the NIS 9002 international quality certificate, in 2000, for flexible and rigid polyurethane foam, fibre pillows, underlay and adhesives. From the late 2000s it built a group around the core business: Vitafoam Sierra Leone in 2008, Vitapur in 2009, Vitablom in 2010, Vitavisco in 2012 and Vono Furniture Products in 2016, and in 2010 it became the major shareholder of Vono Products Plc, later merged into Vitafoam as a single entity. Its shares trade on the Nigerian Exchange and it held its 64th annual general meeting in March 2026.
