Anta Sports acquires Puma (2026)

Anta Sports announced the acquisition of Puma on 26 January 2026 for €1.51 billion; the deal is announced.[1]

ANTA Sports agreed to buy 29.06 per cent of Puma from Artémis, the Pinault family holding company, for €35 a share, €1,505,516,600 in total. The stake would make the Chinese group Puma's largest shareholder without a full takeover, adding it to a portfolio that already includes control of Amer Sports and the Chinese rights to Fila.

Recorded as announced. The long-stop date is 31 December 2026 and no completion announcement had been found as of September 2026. A 29.06 per cent holding would be a minority stake, not control of Puma or its brand.
