Keurig Dr Pepper acquires JDE Peet's (2026)
Keurig Dr Pepper completed the acquisition of JDE Peet's on 1 April 2026 for €15.7 billion.[1][2]
Keurig Dr Pepper bought JDE Peet's through a public offer at €31.85 a share, total equity consideration of €15.7 billion, as the first step of a plan to separate into a drinks company and a global coffee company. Holders of 96.22 per cent of the shares tendered by the end of the offer period and settlement took place on 1 April 2026; a post-closing acceptance period took the holding to 97.75 per cent. JDE Peet's shares were delisted from Euronext Amsterdam on 30 April 2026 and a buy-out of the remaining 2.25 per cent began.
