Procter & Gamble acquires Thorne (2026)
Procter & Gamble announced the acquisition of Thorne on 4 August 2026 for $3.8 billion; the deal is announced.[1]
Procter & Gamble agreed to buy Thorne, the supplements company that L Catterton took private in 2023, from L Catterton's Flagship Fund. P&G's annual report puts the transaction at $3.8 billion. It would be one of P&G's largest acquisitions in years and a move into vitamins and supplements, a category it had largely left.
