Suntory acquires Orangina (2009)
Suntory completed the acquisition of Orangina on 12 November 2009.[1]
Suntory took full ownership of the Orangina Schweppes group from its private equity owners, Lion Capital and Blackstone, giving the Japanese group a soft drinks platform across continental Europe. The price was never confirmed by the parties. Suntory Beverage & Food records the purchase in its own corporate history alongside the Frucor acquisition made the same year.
