About Colcom
Colcom traces to a National Pig Breeders Co-operative formed in 1943 in what was then Southern Rhodesia, which became Colcom Products Central Co-op in 1957 and opened its dedicated Harare processing factory in 1962. It makes bacon, sausages, pies, hams and other pork products under the Colcom, Danmeats, Oscars and Prime Brand names. Innscor bought into it from 2004 and completed a buyout of the remaining minority shareholders in 2017, taking full ownership and delisting it from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.
