About Sable Lager
Sable Lager takes its name from the Sable Brewery that Delta's predecessor built in Bulawayo by 1950, which brewed pale ale, milk stout and a beer of this name. The company relaunched it in March 2022 as a smooth, low-bitterness lager aimed at younger drinkers, so the brand on sale today is a revival of a name the business has used, on and off, for about seventy years.
