About Suiza
Suiza is the cured-meats brand of Laive S.A., sold in Peru as Salchichería Suiza on sausages, hams and other embutidos. Laive entered the meat category by buying the company Empresa Salchichería Suiza S.A.; its 2025 annual report places the purchase in the 1980s, while the history on its website gives 1991. The annual report says the business has lately focused its new products on hams, and Laive lists Suiza as one of its own brands.
