About Vertua
Vertua is Cemex's global brand for cement and ready-mix concrete products with lower embodied carbon and other sustainable attributes, launched in 2021 following the company's Future in Action climate program. Cemex reports that Vertua Lower Carbon products reached 63% of cement sales and 56% of ready-mix concrete sales in 2025, measured against reference emissions benchmarks, and says the brand's scope has expanded since 2023 to cover energy efficiency, design optimization, water conservation, and use of recycled materials as well as lower carbon.
