About Votoran
Votoran is Votorantim's flagship Brazilian cement brand, first produced on 18 January 1936 when the newly built Santa Helena plant's kiln fired for the first time, at a daily output of 250 tonnes. The company's own anniversary materials credit its early reputation to landmark São Paulo public works of the late 1930s, including the rebuilt Chá Viaduct. It remains the best-known of Votorantim's four regional Brazilian cement brands today and is sold alongside concretes, mortars, plasticizers and additives made in the same plants.
