About Wai Wai
Wai Wai is the instant noodle brand CG Foods was built on, made from 1984 at a Kathmandu factory set up in technical collaboration with the Thai Preserved Food Factory of Thailand, and the first brown noodles manufactured in Nepal. It is eaten dry from the packet as often as cooked. The company opened its first Indian production line in 2006 and now runs noodle lines in Nepal, India, Serbia, Bangladesh and Kazakhstan; it calls itself the fastest-growing instant noodle company in India, where seven of its plants are.
