A'Saffa Foods was registered in Oman on 30 December 2001, as A'Saffa Poultry Farms, and began commercial operations on 1 July 2004. It runs the largest integrated broiler project in the country, on a farm at Thumrait in Dhofar Governorate, and produces around 46,000 tonnes of chicken a year plus about 5,000 tonnes of further-processed product from a separate factory. Its shares trade on the Muscat Stock Exchange, where Zulal Investment Company held 33.25 per cent at the end of 2025 and Gulf Investment Corporation 20.01 per cent. It ran at full capacity through both 2024 and 2025, made a group net profit of about 7.2 million rials in 2025, and is expanding from 48 million birds a year to 60 million, a project due to finish in the third quarter of 2026. Its one subsidiary, A'Saffa Food Processing SPC, has made meat, vegetable and fruit products since 2013.
