The holding itself was constituted on 20 May 2013 ahead of its flotation, with share capital raised the same year to 549 million dinars, and it sits above twelve companies covering milk, yogurt, cheese, juice, carbonated drinks, bottled water, plastic packaging, distribution and training. Two of those are shared with Compagnie Gervais Danone under a partnership signed in 1997 — STIAL, held at 43.01 per cent, and the distributor SOCOGES at 50 per cent, both jointly controlled — and the cheese company is a 2008 venture with Bongrain, now Savencia.
