National Vision is one of the largest optical retailers in the United States and works at the value end of the market, selling eye examinations, glasses and contact lenses. At its 2025 year end on 3 January 2026 it had 1,250 shops under four names: two it calls its owned brands, America's Best and Eyeglass World, and two Vista Optical chains run inside other organisations' premises. It does its business through a wholly owned subsidiary, National Vision, Inc., from offices in Duluth, Georgia. The optical shops it once ran inside Walmart stores are gone: that partnership ended in 2024 and is reported as a discontinued operation.
