Pöschl Tabak is a family-owned German tobacco maker in Geisenhausen, near Landshut, which calls itself the world's largest producer of snuff and the leading German manufacturer of tobacco products independent of any group. Alois Pöschl began selling snuff on 24 December 1902; the fourth generation of the family now runs it. It also makes fine-cut, pipe tobacco and, since 2008, the Pueblo cigarette. Its group page counts eleven subsidiaries and four investment companies and says it exports to more than 100 countries. Gawith Hoggarth distributes Pueblo in the UK. Brookfield, Gawith snuff, Radford and Golden Blend's appear on Pöschl's brand lists too but are left out because Gawith Hoggarth also lists some of them as its own.
