Refriango is the leading beverage company in Angola, making soft drinks, juices, waters, energy drinks and alcoholic drinks at an industrial complex of about 42 hectares at Kikuxi — one of the largest in Africa — and running its business from the Edifício Nuvi in the Palanca district of Luanda. It was the first Angolan fast-moving consumer goods company to obtain FSSC 22000 food safety and ISO 9001:2015 certification, exports to more than ten countries and has a second address in Gombe, Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Alongside its own portfolio it is the exclusive Angolan representative and producer for Coca-Cola, Diageo, the Super Bock Group, Pascual and Moët Hennessy, and its Diageo partnership runs through DIREF, a joint venture formed in 2018 that bottles spirits locally. Its brands have taken five Grand Gold, seven Gold and one Silver medal at the Monde Selection awards.
