Royal Unibrew is a Danish multi-beverage company headquartered in Faxe, selling beer, soft drinks, water, cider, ready-to-drink cocktails, wine and spirits in more than 70 countries. It grew out of the Faxe brewery founded in 1901, which merged with Jyske Bryggerier in 1989 and Albani in 2000 before taking the Royal Unibrew name in 2005. It has since bought Hartwall in Finland, Hansa Borg in Norway and Vrumona in the Netherlands. Much of its volume in those markets is Pepsi, Heineken and other brands it bottles under licence, which it does not own.
