Six Flags: brands it owns and its ownership tree
Six Flags (NYSE: FUN) is a publicly listed company headquartered in Charlotte, United States that owns 11 consumer brands.[1][2]
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is the company formed when Cedar Fair and the former Six Flags merged; the merger closed on 1 July 2024 and the combined company took the Six Flags name. Its FY2025 10-K lists 26 amusement parks, 15 separately gated water parks and nine resort properties in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Two of the parks, Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Over Georgia, are held through partnerships and are not wholly owned. The company also manages Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia under an agreement for fees and holds licences for Warner Bros., DC Comics and Peanuts characters, so those character brands are not its own.
