Ferrero acquires WK Kellogg Co and 5 other brands (2025)
Ferrero completed the acquisition of WK Kellogg Co and 5 other brands on 26 September 2025 for $3.1 billion.[1][2]
Ferrero bought all of WK Kellogg Co for $23.00 a share in cash, a total enterprise value of $3.1 billion, completing the deal on 26 September 2025 a week after WK Kellogg shareowners approved it. WK Kellogg Co became a wholly owned subsidiary and left the New York Stock Exchange, so the North American rights to Corn Flakes, Frosted Flakes and Rice Krispies now sit with an Italian family-owned group while Kellanova, owned by Mars, holds the same cereals elsewhere.
The cereal brands stay with WK Kellogg Co, which is now wholly owned by Ferrero; the ownership change is recorded on the company edge from Ferrero to WK Kellogg Co rather than by re-pointing each brand.
