BBFIT Investments acquires Bonds and 3 other brands (2026)

BBFIT Investments announced the acquisition of Bonds and 3 other brands on 30 July 2026 for A$700 million; the deal is announced.[1]

Eight months after buying Hanesbrands, Gildan agreed to sell HanesBrands Australia, the business behind Bonds, Bras N Things, Berlei and Sheridan, to BBFIT Investments Pte Ltd for an enterprise valuation of about A$700 million, and to use the proceeds to repay debt. Gildan already reports the Australian business as a discontinued operation.

Recorded as announced; closing is expected in the second half of 2026. Gildan remains the owner of Bonds, Bras N Things, Berlei and Sheridan until then.
