Heineken acquires Lagunitas (2017)
Heineken completed the acquisition of Lagunitas on 1 May 2017.[1]
Heineken took full ownership of the Californian craft brewer Lagunitas, having bought half in 2015. Craft brewers acquired by multinationals frequently lose shelf space in independent bottle shops as a result, a tension the sector still argues about.
