LVMH acquires TAG Heuer (1999)

LVMH completed the acquisition of TAG Heuer on 14 September 1999.[1]

LVMH acquired TAG Heuer, which had invented the first automatic chronograph movement in 1969 and timed Formula One races for decades. It was the largest of several watch purchases the group made that year and remains its biggest watch brand by volume. The price was not disclosed here.
