Match Group acquires Meetic (2011)
Match Group completed the acquisition of Meetic on 1 June 2011.[1]
Match took control of Meetic, the largest dating service in continental Europe, through a public tender offer for the French company. It gave the group the European position its American brands had never built, and Meetic still trades under its own name across France, Spain and Italy.
