Ziff Davis completed the acquisition of Mashable on 1 February 2021.[1]

Ziff Davis acquired Mashable, which had been started by a nineteen-year-old in Scotland, grown into a large digital publisher, and sold in 2017 for a fraction of its peak valuation. Neither party disclosed the price.
