About Air Albania
Air Albania was founded on 12 September 2018 as a joint venture in which Turkish Airlines holds 49 per cent, the Albanian company MDN Investment SHPK 41 per cent and Albcontrol, which manages Albanian airspace and air traffic on behalf of the government, the remaining 10 per cent. It carries passengers and cargo from a base in Albania. Turkish Airlines accounts for its share by the equity method, so this is a minority holding in another country's carrier rather than a brand the group owns.
