About Air Congo
Air Congo is the Congolese carrier Ethiopian Airlines launched with the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, announced on 17 December 2024. The DRC government holds 51 per cent and Ethiopian 49 per cent, with Ethiopian managing the airline. It started with two Boeing 737-800s leased from the Ethiopian fleet, serving seven domestic airports, under aircraft lease, technical support and systems agreements with its Ethiopian partner.
