About Simba
Simba is Marsavco's food brand and the biggest thing it makes: refined vegetable cooking oil sold in one, five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five and thirty-litre containers, which covers the household bottle and the bulk drum bought by traders and caterers from the same Kinshasa refinery. The name has since been extended to instant noodles, sold in beef and shrimp flavours in 70g and 100g packs, and the company markets those heavily to Congolese families around the school year and through music and family events in Kinshasa.
