Ameriabank is the largest bank in Armenia by loans, incorporated in Yerevan in 1992. Lion Finance Group, then Bank of Georgia Group, bought 90% of it on 31 March 2024, and the deal was the reason the group gave itself a new name. Its net loans and deposits grew 28% and 22% in constant currency in 2025, and it launched MyAmeria Star, a banking app for school pupils.
