About ECOPlanet
ECOPlanet is Holcim's low-carbon cement brand, sold in 31 markets across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, Middle East & Africa. Holcim states it delivers full cement performance with at least 30% lower CO2 emissions than ordinary CEM I/OPC cement, achieved through formulations using alternative raw materials such as calcined clay and recycled construction-demolition material. It reached around 60% of Holcim's cement net sales in 2025, and the group targets more than 50% of category net sales for it by 2030.
