About Embark Studios
Embark Studios is a Stockholm game developer that NEXON made a subsidiary in July 2019 by buying additional shares, and which now sits under NEXON Korea at 100%. It launched ARC Raiders in October 2025 and holds that game's copyrights, and it is a party to the exclusive licence under which Tencent companies localise and publish THE FINALS in China. NEXON began amortising those copyrights in 2025, once the game was out of development.
