About Malak Al Tawouk
Malak Al Tawouk is a family-owned Lebanese quick service chain founded in Beirut in 1996 and built on its grilled boneless chicken tawouk sandwich, with more than 45 restaurants in Lebanon, 19 elsewhere in the Middle East and stores in France and Canada. On 8 February 2026 Americana Restaurants announced it had entered a 75-year exclusive licence to develop the brand across thirteen markets, and had agreed to buy its UAE and Saudi franchisees for 20.8 million dollars. The name itself stays with its Lebanese owners.
