About Malta Balashi
Malta Balashi is the brewery's non-alcoholic malt drink, introduced in 2001 to sit alongside the beers. Balashi calls it Aruba's favourite nutritional non-alcoholic beverage, drunk by children and adults alike from breakfast through family outings to youth sports events — the same everyday, un-adult role that malt drinks hold across much of the Caribbean.

About the owner: Balashi Brewery
Balashi Brewery is a privately held company headquartered in Santa Cruz, Aruba, founded in 1993. Brandtree records 4 brands under its control.
Brouwerij Nacional Balashi is Aruba's national brewery, at Santa Cruz in the middle of the island. It began in 1993 as a partnership between the Aruban company MetaCorp and Brewtech, the brewing engineering arm of M.P. Farm, and MetaCorp bought out its partner's shares in 2001 to take full ownership. Its first beer went on sale in October 1999. The range is deliberately small — three beers and a malt drink — and built for a market of one island plus its visitors.
