About Naivas
Naivas is the largest supermarket chain in Kenya, trading from 108 outlets and voted East Africa's Choice for 2024 to 2026 in a consumer poll run across the region. IBL bought into it in the financial year to June 2024 and consolidates it as a subsidiary, but its effective interest is 37.33 per cent rather than control on paper. The group has since rolled out across its branches the same enterprise resource planning system it built for its Mauritian retail business.

Just over half its revenue is earned outside Mauritius, mostly in Réunion and East Africa. Its consumer-facing businesses are three supermarket chains in three countries and the hotel brands of The Lux Collective; its drinks arm Phoenix Beverages, held at an effective 23.28 per cent, is listed separately.
