About Piller's
Piller's began on 1 April 1957, when master butcher Wilhelm Huber and George Piller put 500 dollars each into a small butcher shop in Waterloo, Ontario. Huber's brothers bought out Piller in 1959, and the first packaged retail Piller's meat was sold in 1968. Premium Brands completed its purchase of the business, then with about 180 million dollars in sales, on 12 September 2011.
