About Hempler's
Hempler's is a ham, bacon and sausage brand from Washington State. German sausage maker Hans Hempler settled in Bellingham in 1934 and that year bought B.B. Meat and Sausage Co., which was later renamed Hempler's. It is made by Hempler Foods Group, which Premium Brands wholly owns, and in 2024 Premium Brands sold and leased back its enlarged plant in Ferndale, Washington.
