Aquila is a Romanian distribution and logistics group founded in Ploiești in 1994 by Alin Adrian Dociu and Constantin Cătălin Vasile, and listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in November 2021. It carries more than 22,000 products to over 78,000 points of sale across Romania, Moldova and Hungary on a fleet of more than 1,600 vehicles, and most of what it moves belongs to somebody else: Kinder, Lavazza, Whiskas and Mutti are the examples it gives. Its own brands, which it began assembling when it bought and merged the food importer Agrirom in 2019, produced about 4 per cent of the RON 3.5 billion it turned over in 2025.
