Zambeef Products is the largest integrated cold chain food and agribusiness company in Zambia. It was founded in June 1994 as a small butchery business and now farms wheat, maize and soya, runs beef abattoirs and feedlots, poultry, pork and dairy plants, flour mills, a stockfeed business and a tannery and shoe factory, and sells through its own shops and the butcheries it operates in Shoprite supermarkets. It is listed in Lusaka and on London's AIM. On 29 April 2026 British International Investment converted its preference shares into ordinary shares, taking its voting rights to about 59 per cent.
